The course is categorized into basic and advanced levels: The basic course will be of 6 months with 3 modules of 4 days each.The candidate will place 5 implants in ideal situations .This course includes 100 hours of practical, live demonstration and clinical practice in basic implantology. The advanced course includes 5 modules of six days each in the time span of one year. The course will have 240 hours of practical, live demonstration and clinical practice in advanced implantology.

CERTIFICATE COURSE IN CONE BEAM COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY:


A Four-day extensive Hands-on course including the applications of CBCT in various aspects of head and neck imaging in multi-planar dimensions in various specialties of Dentistry, including Oral Implantology, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Endodontics, Periodontics, Diagnosis of TMJ disorders, artefacts in CBCT images, as well as medico-legal considerations relating to the use of CBCT.

CERTIFICATE COURSE IN PERIODONTAL MICROSURGERY:


The TRAINING PROGRAMME IN PERIODONTAL MICROSURGERY aims to provide a comprehensive theoretical and practical exposure in periodontal surgery procedures with primary emphasis on developing clinical skills that encompasses good microsurgical technique. The course will focus on developing manual surgical dexterity and understanding principles of microsurgery as they apply to periodontics.

CERTIFICATE COURSE IN DENTAL CLINICAL PHOTOGRAPHY:


This is a skill-based learning on clinical photography in dentistry. The course will help you to take diagnostically useful clinical photographs with less chair time and complete acceptance by the patient without any discomfort. This course can be taken up or is useful for clinician, student, professor, teacher, researcher, or an intern. On completion of the course you will be a pioneer in clinical photography and finally will enhance your publication and presentation skills too.

CERTIFICATE COURSE IN SAFE SEDATION AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT IN PAEDIATRIC DENTISTRY:


Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry offers Value-Added Course on “Safe sedation and Emergency Management in Pediatric Dentistry”. Anxiety and issues with behaviour guidance can make it extremely challenging for a child to cooperate during dental treatment with local anesthesia and psychological support alone. Safe sedation in children requires a comprehensive approach involving a team of skilled and vigilant personnel, selection of patients suitable for sedation, use of age-appropriate drugs and their dosage in conjunction with relevant monitoring and airway management equipment. The different sedative techniques and emergency management in a pediatric dental set up will be highlighted in this training.

TRAINING PROGRAM IN MANAGEMENT OF TEMPOROMANDIBULAR JOINT DISORDERS

Management of Temporomandibular dysfunction contrary to general thinking would be relatively simple if one understands the function and Patho-physiology leading to disorder. This certificate course pivots around examination, interpretation of various signs and symptoms, diagnosis and evidence based approach to current trends in management of TMD. It also provides insight into study of occlusion, biomechanics of centric relation, mandibular movements and their influence in maintaining harmony of Stomatognathic system. It includes hands on exercises in making centric and eccentric relation records, programming of articulators, identifying occlusal interferences, prescription and interpretation of imaging modalities, delivery of physical therapy, making of occlusal splints and other conservative treatment modalities in management of Temporomandibular disorders.
