A.B. Shetty Memorial Institute Of Dental Sciences provides a Fellowship Programme in Dental Surgery - Oral Implantology: awarded by Nitte, every year. It’s a year long full-time commitment specifically addressed to aspiring graduates to build their clinical as well as theoretical skills in the field of Implantology. This programme provides fellows an opportunity to develop and explore new horizons with advanced equipments and latest techniques.
Eligibility
Selection to the Fellowship Program in Oral Implantology shall be based on the basis of merit obtained in the BDS Examination.

University Examinations:
The University examination comprises of written(theory) , viva voce and practical examinations.
The written examination shall be for 75 marks and of 3 hours duration. There shall be two long question each of 20 marks and 5 short essay questions each of 7 marks.
The practical examination is for 100 marks and comprise of two exercises Viz., one long exercise for 60 marks and short exercise for 40 marks followed by a viva –voce for 25 marks which covers all parts of the syllabus and the student shall present a minimum of five cases.
